Position: Lead Tutor

Randstad Education is recruiting autism specialist alternative provision as a Lead Tutor for learners aged 16-25. This is a role unlike any other, set in a stunning converted barn surrounded by fields and nature. This is a full-time permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday - Friday in line with school hours.
Responsibilities:
- Design and lead a bespoke, learner-led curriculum centered on the "Pathways to Adulthood."
- Direct and mentor a small team of 1:1 support staff to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
- Create meaningful, hands-on learning experiences utilising the rural setting and wildlife.
- Manage all assessments and documentation during your dedicated weekly "admin day."
- Partner with the Mental Health Support Worker to integrate emotional wellbeing into daily learning.
Preferred Skills:
- Deep understanding of sensory processing, communication barriers, and complex needs.
- Ability to translate long-term goals into engaging, individualized daily projects.
- Proven experience delegating to and motivating support staff.
- Skilled in non-traditional, therapeutic teaching methods without the constraints of Ofsted.
- A full, clean driving licence and access to a car.
