Randstad Education is hiring Key Stage Leaders in Cambridge. This is a crucial Middle Leadership opportunity for Primary Teachers who are ready to own their phase, drive academic standards, and mentor a dedicated team. This is a permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday - Friday inline with school hours.
Responsibilities:
- Direct the Key Stage team to ensure parity in teaching quality and learning outcomes.
- Maintain an exemplary classroom that serves as the school's benchmark for best practice.
- Interpret phase-wide assessment data to identify under performance and execute rapid interventions.
- Execute learning walks and formal observations to provide actionable feedback and mentoring.
- Lead the development of a creative, research-informed curriculum that challenges all learners.
- Communicate Senior Leadership priorities to the team and relay phase-specific needs to the SLT.
- Oversee the Key Stage budget and physical resources to ensure maximum impact on learning.
Preferred Skills:
- Mandatory Qualified Teacher Status with a minimum of 3-5 years UK Primary experience.
- Documented evidence of raising standards in a subject or phase leadership capacity.
- Advanced understanding of evidence-informed teaching.
- Proficiency in tracking software (e.g., SIMS, Insight, Arbor) to translate raw data into strategy.
- Experience in coaching ECTs (Early Career Teachers) or TAs to improve classroom performance.
- Certified knowledge of KCSiE 2025/26 and statutory safeguarding procedures.
Personal Attributes:
- Ability to remain resilient and decisive during high-stakes periods (e.g., SATs, Ofsted).
- Skilled at building high-trust relationships while maintaining professional accountability.
- Able to look beyond the immediate classroom to the long-term goals of the school.
- Committed to a "no-blame" culture and collective team success.
- Proven ability to balance a full-time teaching load with leadership administrative duties.
- Emotionally intelligent and capable of tailoring communication to pupils, parents, and peers.
