Secondary Teaching Assistant - Swindon

Responsibilities:
- Support individual students or small groups in lessons to help them access the curriculum effectively.
- Assist pupils with additional learning needs (SEN), adapting tasks and resources where necessary to ensure inclusivity.
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment throughout the school day.
- Build strong, encouraging relationships with students to boost their confidence, motivation, and classroom engagement.
- Collaborate closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to monitor, track, and report on student progress.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people, whether in schools, youth work, sports coaching, or care settings.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with patience, adaptability, and strong classroom management support.
- Attitude: A proactive, friendly, and reliable approach with a genuine desire to make a difference in young people's lives.
- Requirements: An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
