Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging Science lessons to students across KS3 and KS4, consistently striving for outstanding outcomes.
  • If applicable, teach A-Level Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) with confidence and deep subject knowledge.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a positive, orderly, and well-managed learning environment in line with the school's behaviour policy.
  • Actively participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and the school's performance management cycle.
  • Contribute to the extra-curricular life of the department (e.g., Science clubs, trips, or revision sessions).

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential, alongside a relevant Science-related degree.
