Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and qualified Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of at least one of the major modern languages and a proven track record of delivering engaging lessons that motivate students to excel. You will play a key role in our MFL department, helping to shape the curriculum and inspire the next generation of linguists.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality MFL lessons to students across all key stages.
- Create an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and progress.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and resources.
- Participate in school-wide activities, including professional development and staff meetings.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Child DBS on the update service.
- A degree in a relevant subject or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching MFL at the secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for modern languages.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to professional development and a willingness to contribute to the school community.
