We are recruiting for a permanent, full-time Nursery Room Leader for a beautiful setting in Haywards Heath. Key Responsibilities as a Room Leader:
- Room Management: Oversee the daily operations of your room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and support a small team of Nursery Practitioners, promoting best practices in Early Years education.
- EYFS Delivery: Plan and implement creative, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Parent Partnership: Maintain excellent communication with parents and carers, providing updates on child development.
- Safeguarding: Ensure the highest standards of safety, safeguarding, and compliance are met at all times.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Must hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or BA in Early Years).
- Experience: Proven experience working within an EYFS nursery setting. Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Practitioner, or Team Leader is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, excellent team-working abilities, and a thorough understanding of safeguarding policies.
- Status: Must have the right to work in the UK for a permanent role.
