We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to join the school Operations team. The school timings are from Monday-Friday and 8:00 am - 4:00 pm and this role is available to start ASAP.

When you work in this school your responsibilities will include:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising, interviewing, and selection
- Coordinate and conduct staff inductions, ensuring a smooth on-boarding experience
- Prepare and process HR documentation, including contracts, letters, and reports
- Stay informed about changes in employment legislation and ensure school policies align
- Manage the coordination of HR review meetings alongside senior leaders and the school's external HR service provider
- Administer HR-related documentation such as offer letters, contracts, leavers and amendments
- Provide initial advice to senior leaders and line managers in relation to their responsibilities for managing sickness absence
- Administer and support dealing with specific HR cases
- Support with the administration of sickness absence casework
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and contribute to policy development

- Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
- 2 recent professional references
- Previous HR experience, preferably within a school environment
- Ability to work independently under pressure while meeting deadlines
- Focus on the impact and outcomes of HR activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented approach
- Right to work in the UK (Essential)
