Looking for a classroom where no two days are ever the same? Could you be the champion a child with complex needs is looking for? If yes, we have an opportunity for you to be a Teaching Assistant at a school located in Bristol. This role would be suitable for the individual who wishes to work on a Supply basis. You will have an opportunity to work with an experienced and welcoming staff.
As Teaching Assistant you will:
- Ensure pupils stay on task
- Control behaviour
- Provide support to children on a 1-to-1 basis or in a group setting when required
- Assist the teacher in planning engaging lessons for the class in line with the curriculum
- Liaise with the class teacher and parents to provide the best support.
This role requires:
- Any experience working with children with special needs and disabilities.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- An Enhanced Child DBS or a willingness to get one.
- Eligibility to work in the UK (No Sponsorships Provided)
