Can you bring a positive learning environment in the classroom? Randstad Education is looking for a passionate and conscientious Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive school in Bristol.
You will be based in a primary classroom, providing support and guidance to all children alongside general classroom duties. This is a full-time role (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM) that requires immediate joining. You will have the chance to support students, as well as continue your own professional development. It is a highly rewarding role, where qualifications are desired but not required! We are looking for those with experience working with children and/or young people.
Responsibilities:- Ensuring pupils stay on task
- Controlling behaviour in the classroom
- Providing support to children on a 1-to-1 basis or in a group setting when required
- Assisting the teacher in planning engaging lessons for the class in line with the curriculum
- Liaising with the class teacher and parents to provide the best support
