Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Teacher: Transformative Day-to-Day Supply Role! Ready to use your QTS to make a profound, flexible difference? We are seeking inspiring and compassionate QTS Supply Teachers to provide day-to-day cover across our supportive alternative provision academies in the South West. You will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity for vulnerable students aged 5 to 16 who are unable to attend mainstream education, providing a trauma-informed learning environment.

The Role: Lead Learning and Impact Lives (Supply Basis)

As a QTS Supply Teacher, you will be pivotal in delivering short-term educational support. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering planned, personalized lessons to pupils on a one-to-one or small-group basis, covering core subjects to maintain academic progress.
  • Creating a safe, positive, and stable learning environment for students requiring temporary cover.
  • Following school procedures for behaviour management and safeguarding.
  • Collaborating with on-site Learning Mentors and staff to ensure a smooth transition of support.

This is a flexible, term-time supply position where you can truly impact a young person's life prospects without the commitment of a permanent contract.

Who We're Looking For

You will be a dedicated, creative, and resilient professional who is:

  • A Fully Qualified Teacher (QTS) with experience across key stages, ideally in core subjects (Maths, English, Science are highly valued).
  • Experienced or passionate about working with students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.
  • An exceptional and empathetic communicator who can quickly establish positive rapport.
  • Adaptable and resourceful‑able to step into various settings and manage complex behaviour effectively.
