Randstad is seeking dedicated, committed and caring teaching assistants who work alongside teachers to help manage and facilitate classroom activities. Pay Rate: £88-90 per day

Job Type: Flexible - Term Time only

Start Date: Immediate

As a teaching assistant, you will support teachers in various tasks, including:

  • Helping with lesson delivery
  • Working with small groups or individual students
  • Managing classroom behaviour

Desired skills and qualities:

  • Previous experience as a TA in a UK school
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • UK Driving Licence
  • Enhanced child DBS on the update service
  • Strong communication skills and behaviour management
  • Ability to interact and engage with children

Key Responsibilities as TA:

  • Foster and maintain a positive classroom environment
  • Assist with setting up activities, distributing resources, and organising classroom materials
  • Work one to one with children or in small groups and help them overcome difficulties
  • Monitor children’s attendance, progress and prepare reports
  • Communicate with teachers and parents regarding the child’s performance and development
  • Adhere to the school’s policies and procedures
