Your Role as an Educational Partner

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you are the backbone of the classroom, ensuring lessons run smoothly and pupils remain engaged.

  • Small Group Interventions: Lead "breakout" sessions to support pupils who need an extra boost in core subjects like English and Maths.
  • Creative Classroom Management: Assist the teacher in preparing resources, creating displays, and managing classroom behaviour to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Holistic Pupil Support: Assist with the social and emotional development of students, helping them build resilience and teamwork skills.
  • Collaborative Success: Work closely with the Class Teacher to track pupil progress and ensure a safe, inclusive, and high-energy learning environment.
