/n We are looking for an immediate Caretaker who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure, bright environment for our pupils and staff to join one of our schools in Sefton.
/n

What You'll Be Doing
/n
/n
- Site Security: Unlocking the school each morning, securing the site at the end of the day, and acting as a key holder.
/n
- General Maintenance: Handling basic DIY and routine upkeep (e.g., changing light tubes, minor plumbing fixes, painting, hanging shelving, and simple repairs).
/n
- Grounds & Premises: Ensuring outdoor areas, pathways, and play zones are clean, safe, and hazard-free.
/n
- Health & Safety: Performing routine checks (e.g., water testing, fire alarm tests) and liaising with contractors for major servicing.
/n
- Community Support: Assisting with setup for school events, assemblies, and managing deliveries.
/n

What We're Looking For

- Practical Mindset: Basic maintenance and handyman skills (carpentry, basic plumbing, or general trades background is a bonus).
/n
- Reliability & Initiative: Someone who sees what needs doing and gets it done safely.
/n
- Communication: Friendly and approachable-you'll be a valued face around the school site.
/n
- Physical Fitness: Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting, moving furniture, and working outdoors in all seasons.
/n
