We are currently recruiting a dedicated, resourceful, and highly mobile Site Supervisor for a permanent vacancy on behalf of a progressive academy trust. This full-time role is available for an immediate start. Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37 hours per week) Start Date: ASAP Shift Patterns: Variable between early opening and late closing shifts (the academies actively avoid split shifts wherever possible) Travel: Mandatory travel between two local academy sites in Bedale and Ripon About the School They are a forward-thinking and inclusive multi-site academy trust dedicated to providing exceptional educational standards across the region. Operating from two key locations in Bedale and Ripon, they cater to a wide age range of learners, which includes a vibrant sixth form provision supporting young adults aged 18 and 19. They pride themselves on providing safe, modern, and highly secure learning spaces, supported by a committed facilities team that keeps daily operations running smoothly across both campuses. The ability and willingness to travel regularly between the Bedale and Ripon sites to oversee facilities. Proven experience in building maintenance, groundskeeping, basic repairs, and keyholding duties. A solid understanding of school compliance, including fire safety, water hygiene checks, and general risk assessments. Performing routine compliance checks, monitoring health and safety protocols, and keeping accurate logbook records. Liaising with site leadership, staff, and external contractors to ensure all maintenance tasks are handled swiftly and safely. A current Enhanced DBS check covering both children and adults is mandatory due to the presence of sixth form students aged 18 and 19. A full driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle to facilitate travel between the two sites.
