We are currently recruiting a dedicated, resourceful, and highly mobile Site Supervisor for a permanent vacancy on behalf of a progressive academy trust. This full-time role is available for an immediate start.
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37 hours per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Shift Patterns: Variable between early opening and late closing shifts (the academies actively avoid split shifts wherever possible)
Travel: Mandatory travel between two local academy sites in Bedale and Ripon

Skills Required
- The ability and willingness to travel regularly between the Bedale and Ripon sites to oversee facilities.
- Proven experience in building maintenance, groundskeeping, basic repairs, and keyholding duties.

- The capability to manage your own workload effectively when moving between different sites.
Job Responsibilities
- Sharing responsibility for the overall security, cleanliness, and maintenance of both the Bedale and Ripon academy buildings and grounds.
- Managing the opening and closing routines of the sites, ensuring the premises are secure for all students, including the older sixth form cohorts.
- Performing routine compliance checks, monitoring health and safety protocols, and keeping accurate logbook records.
- Liaising with site leadership, staff, and external contractors to ensure all maintenance tasks are handled swiftly and safely.
Essential Requirements
- A current Enhanced DBS check covering both children and adults is mandatory due to the presence of sixth form students aged 18 and 19.
- A full driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle to facilitate travel between the two sites.
- Full eligibility to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
