Key Responsibilities
- As a core member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will drive the academic and emotional standards of the school:
- Teaching and Learning: Lead the delivery of high-quality, differentiated instruction, ensuring the curriculum meets the diverse needs of SEND students.
- Curriculum Leadership: Oversee whole-school organization and strategy, with a particular focus on guiding staff in Science, Maths, and the wider curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Assessment and Progress: Monitor, record, and report on pupil achievement and coordinate arrangements for external examinations.
- Therapeutic Support: Utilise your expertise to embed a therapeutic approach to behaviour management and emotional well-being across the school.
- Operational Strategy: Contribute to the implementation and evaluation of school policies and collaborate with the wider educational community to share best practices.
- Staff Management: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, flexibility, and cooperation among the staff team.
Requirements
- The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong background in specialist education leadership:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

- Substantial experience in delivering a high-quality curriculum at Key Stage 3 and 4.
