The Role
As a Qualified Practitioner, you will take a proactive role in the daily education and care of our children. You will use your knowledge of child development to create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educational Delivery: Plan and implement engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Key Person Role: Act as a key person for a group of children, monitoring their progress and maintaining accurate developmental records.
- Partnership with Parents: Build strong, professional relationships with parents and carers to provide updates on their child's journey.
- Safety & Welfare: Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and health and safety are maintained at all times.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and act as a positive role model for support staff and trainees.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a motivated professional who meets the following criteria:
- Qualified: Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent).
- Knowledgeable: A solid understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
