Working hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm (Full-time, Permanent)
What will you be responsible for:
- Provide individualised and group support to students aged 4-18 with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Collaborate on and implement IEPs, foster a positive learning environment, and assist students with daily living skills.
- Monitor student progress, behaviour, and interventions.
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians.
Specifically the activities will be:
- Deliver individualised and group support sessions for students with diverse SEN.
- Collaborate on the creation and execution of Individualised Education Programs (IEPs).
- Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Assist students with daily living skills and personal care.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, behaviour, and interventions.
- Maintain open and regular communication with parents/guardians.
- Actively participate in school-wide events and activities.
Experience:
- Minimum 6 months' experience supporting students with SEN.
- Experience in an ABA/CABAS school is highly advantageous.
Requirements/Skills:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; patience, empathy, and a positive attitude; strong organisational and time management skills; proven behaviour management experience.
- Level of study GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent).
