Salary: Β£88-105 per day (ad hoc basis)

Are you looking for a teaching assistant role to work with your schedule? Looking for work on an ad hoc basis? Have you got experience with SEN pupils?

Join our team of experience and specialist staff based at a SEN school in West Wickham, south London. The school opened in June 2026 and features a team of Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists, and Psychotherapists.

Requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above or L1/2 equivalent functional skills qualification
  • Hold or be willing to work towards a recognised teaching assistant qualification
  • Experience working with non-verbal students and an understanding of the condition as well as Autistic Spectrum Disorder as well as other complex medical conditions.
  • Drivers preferred due to rural campus location
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check on the Update Service - or already have one
  • Previous experience of performing personal care for ages 5-19.
