Overview: Randstad Education is seeking a caring and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide individual support to a pupil with additional needs in a primary school. This role involves working closely with the class teacher to help the student engage in lessons and achieve their learning goals. Main Duties:
- Deliver one-to-one support tailored to a child’s specific learning needs.
- Assist with daily classroom routines while maintaining a supportive learning environment.
- Offer behavioural and emotional guidance when needed.
- Collaborate with the teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies.
- Monitor progress and share updates with colleagues and parents.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting children, ideally in a 1:1 or SEN setting.
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and patience.
- A positive, adaptable attitude and genuine enthusiasm for helping young learners.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
