Role & Responsibilities
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide individualised support to a child in an Early Years setting. You will work closely with the classroom teacher to develop and implement learning plans, and create a positive and engaging learning experience for the child. You will help the child to reach their full potential.
Main tasks include
- Delivering individualised learning support to a child with SEN.
- Collaborating with the teacher to develop and implement learning plans.
- Creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Monitoring and documenting the child\’s progress.
- Communicating regularly with parents/carers.
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification.
- Proven experience supporting children with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Experience working in an Early Years setting.
- Immediate availability.
