Role Overview

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-time & Part-time available)

Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

Start Date: September 2026

Pay: £80 - £95 per day (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities
-
Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans).

Assist learners with autism (ASD), ADHD, moderate learning difficulties (MLD), or social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH).

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning materials.

Build trust, encourage independence, and foster a safe, positive environment.
What We Are Looking For

Previous experience supporting SEN students in a school, care, or youth work setting (preferred).

Strong communication, patience, and adaptability.
-
A proactive, resilient attitude with a passion for inclusive education.

An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
