Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver clear, engaging, and well-structured Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students in line with departmental policies.
• Differentiating learning materials and teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and discipline to create a safe, respectful learning environment.
• Set meaningful homework and provide constructive, timely feedback to support continuous student improvement.
• Prepare students effectively for national examinations, including GCSE Mathematics assessments.
• Contribute to the continuous development of the school's Mathematics scheme of work and shared curriculum resources.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues, senior leadership, and support staff to uphold high academic standards.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and carers regarding student progress and welfare.
• Participate in departmental meetings, school-wide events, parents' evenings, and ongoing professional development (CPD).
