We have immediate opportunities to start from day 1 of September for dedicated, upbeat Cover Supervisors across secondary schools in Bootle and surrounding Sefton areas (L20 and L21).

Requirements:
- Practical background in SEN support, care work, youth mentoring, 1:1 assistance, or classroom support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with teenagers.
- Confidence with classroom management and handling low-level disruption assertively.
- Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
Key Duties:
- Supervise high school classes (KS3 & KS4) during short-term teacher absences.
- Deliver pre-set work and learning instructions provided by the department.
- Maintain strong classroom control using the school's positive behaviour policies.
- Keep students focused and on-task throughout each lesson period.
- Collect completed work and report back to the subject department head.
