Our local and prominent secondary schools across Sefton are looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students (ages 11-16). You will provide vital classroom, small group, and 1:1 guidance to pupils with additional learning needs, helping them stay engaged, build confidence, and succeed academically.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support in KS3 and KS4 classrooms.
- Supporting students with additional needs (ADHD, ASD, SEMH).
- Helping keep pupils engaged and managing low-level classroom disruption.
- Assisting subject teachers with prep, resources, and exam scribing.
What You Need:
- Experience working with young people (schools, sports coaching, care, youth work).
- An Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willing to process one immediately).
- Reliable, energetic, and adaptable attitude.
