Key Stage 1 1:1 Teaching Assistant - Primary School (Crosby)
Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for supporting young learners? We are seeking a motivated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Crosby. This is your chance to make a real difference in a child's educational journey by providing tailored support in a vibrant Key Stage 1 classroom.
Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a student within a Key Stage 1 setting to facilitate their learning and development.
Collaborate closely with the class teacher to implement personalised lesson plans and interventions.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment that promotes academic and social growth.
Assist the student with classroom activities, ensuring they remain engaged and supported throughout the day.
Monitor and record the student's progress, providing regular feedback to teaching staff and parents where necessary.
Support the social and emotional well-being of the student, helping them build confidence and independence.
Qualifications:
Experience working with children in an educational or nursery setting is highly desirable.
A patient, proactive, and empathetic approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
Relevant childcare or education qualifications (e.g., Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools) are considered an asset.
A commitment to maintaining safeguarding and health and safety standards.
