Cover Supervisor- Birkenhead

We're looking for ambitious, adaptable Cover Supervisors to bring energy and structure to our vibrant secondary schools across Birkenhead.

You'll step in to lead interactive lessons, guide young people through set work, and build the real-world leadership skills that will set you apart.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise secondary school classes (Key Stages 3 and 4) using pre-prepared lesson plans provided by the school.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, enforcing school policies to ensure a safe and productive environment.
• Assist students with their work, answering queries and keeping them on task.
• Collect completed work at the end of lessons and pass feedback to permanent staff.
• Maintain high standards of pupil engagement and well-being.

What We Are Looking For:

• A degree qualification or substantial experience working with young people (e.g., sports coaching, youth work, tutoring, teaching assistant roles).
• Strong communication, presence, and classroom management skills.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and reliability.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Right to work in the UK.
