We are seeking a UX Designer to join a publisher‑focused design team in London. This role involves solving complex design challenges, scaling from detailed features to holistic product experiences, with a primary focus on desktop applications and additional experience in mobile design. You will lead initiatives from concept through to launch, collaborating with researchers, product managers, and engineers to deliver user‑centric solutions in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define product requirements and solutions in partnership with PM and Engineering.
- Focus on user needs, mental models, and define UX across publisher tools and ecosystems.
- Develop user journeys, mockups, prototypes, and end‑to‑end specifications.
- Partner with User Researchers to test and validate design concepts.
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure designs are implemented to spec and solve technical challenges creatively.
Required Skills & Experience
- MA/MS degree in Design (interaction, product, industrial) or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep knowledge of Figma, creating high‑fidelity mocks and prototypes.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate design rationale.
- Experience designing complex desktop/web applications from pre‑ to post‑launch.
- Track record of delivering high‑quality, usable products.
- Familiarity with user research methods and collaboration with researchers.
- Experience defining and expanding design systems, components, and patterns.
- Systems thinking: ability to scale thoughtful experiences while maintaining clarity, consistency, and delight.
- Portfolio or relevant link to work included in resume.
Nice to Have
- Business acumen and product management experience, translating complex requirements into user‑centric solutions.
