My client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking a Technology Remediation Specialist to join their Remediation Oversight and Governance team within the Global Regulatory Affairs Office. Reporting to the Remediation Validation Testing Manager, this position requires expertise in assurance and validation testing within technology, cyber, and data domains. A key focus will be the execution of the validation program to guarantee regulatory alignment. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing methodologies for critical remediation quality control efforts, particularly those stemming from regulatory bodies and internal audit findings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and document clear, concise approaches for remediation validation
- Accurately and promptly execute regulatory validation projects
- Analyse processes and controls, conducting interviews and operational observations
- Proactively identify risks, prioritise tasks, and ensure timely delivery
- Cultivate strong relationships and influence with senior stakeholders
- Effectively communicate issues and collaborate on resolution paths
- Exhibit leadership through influential communication and strong relationship building
Qualifications
- Financial services industry experience
- Experience in risk, control, or internal audit with technology validation testing
- Expertise in IT risks (cyber security, ITGCs, application controls, platforms, data governance)
- Knowledge of IT risk frameworks (ITIL, COSO, COBIT, NIST, ISO) and testing methodologies
- Understanding of assurance activities (controls monitoring, compliance testing)
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or Risk Management
