Are you a CCNP-level engineer with a passion for hybrid cloud environments? We are looking for a high-caliber Network Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure and Operations team for a critical 6-month project.
This role sits at the heart of our Platforms team, where you’ll bridge the gap between traditional on-premises networking and cutting-edge Azure cloud infrastructure.
You will be responsible for the reliability, security, and performance of our network across both on-premises and Azure environments.
- Cisco Networking: Designing and maintaining secure LAN/WAN infrastructure (switches, routers, and structured cabling).
- Leading the design of Azure virtual networks, subnets, NSGs, and ExpressRoute.
- Providing 3rd line support, directing root cause analysis, and governing complex network changes.
Cisco Expertise: Must hold a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent industry certification.
Azure Specialist: Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) or demonstrable equivalent experience.
Hybrid Experience: Proven track record in managing secure, scalable network architectures across hybrid environments (SFIA Level 5).
Experience in Financial Institutions or UK Government sectors.
You'll work with a talented IT Operations team and managed service providers to deliver reliable, efficient, and secure IT services.
