The Opportunity
We are looking for a strategic and commercially-minded Product Specialist/Sales Specialist Manager to join one of the world's leading technology platforms. This is a high-visibility, 12-month maternity cover role focused on driving video advertising growth within the UK's most prestigious retail accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales: Refine and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for the UK market, focusing on a high-priority portfolio of retail clients.
- Expert Pitching: Build and deliver compelling narratives to C-suite stakeholders, showcasing the unique value proposition of our video and brand solutions.
- Revenue Growth: Partner with internal account teams to expand 'wallet share' and shift budgets from traditional TV/AV toward digital video.
- Product Advocacy: Act as a thought leader on the latest video features and ad formats, educating both internal teams and external agency partners.
- Consultative Insights: Use data-driven deep dives to provide tactical recommendations that solve complex business challenges for major retailers.
What We're Looking For
- Media Landscape Expertise: 8-10 years of experience within TV, Social Video, Digital, or Programmatic media.
- The 'Agency DNA': Ideally, you come from a Media Agency background (e.g., AV Manager, Business Director, or Commerce Planner) or a similar role at a major tech platform.
- Commercial Polish: Proven experience in client-facing roles with a track record of pitching and closing high-value branding agreements.
- Sector Knowledge: Experience working with the Retail sector is highly advantageous.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to influence cross-functional teams and navigate a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
Role Details
- Duration: 12-month fixed-term contract (Maternity Cover).
- Schedule: Hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday in-office; Monday/Friday remote).
- Start Date: Mid-April (Urgent hire).
