Are you a hands-on Linux Automation Engineer with a strong background in Perl and Python?
We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to support, maintain, and evolve a critical enterprise platform for a large-scale global client.
In this role, you will champion operational excellence by optimizing automation workflows, troubleshooting complex infrastructure, and driving platform modernization initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing automation solutions using
Perl, Python, and Shell scripting .
- Support and optimize Linux-based production environments (RHEL), ensuring high reliability and stability.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Jenkins) for seamless build and deployment processes.
- Diagnose and resolve cross-platform infrastructure, application, and network issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to investigate incidents and implement continuous improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Strong enterprise Linux administration and troubleshooting experience (RHEL or similar).
- Heavy-hitting scripting and automation skills (Perl, Python, Bash, or Korn Shell).
- Solid knowledge of Git-based workflows and CI/CD tooling.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP).
- Proven ability to work independently in complex, large-scale, or regulated enterprise environments.
- Enterprise storage experience (Net App, SAN solutions).
- Knowledge of authentication tech (Kerberos, SPNEGO).
- Familiarity with cloud, containerization, and modern platform engineering practices.
