We are seeking an experienced IMS Systems Auditor to join our team and support the effective management and continuous improvement of our Integrated Management System (IMS). This role is ideal for an individual with experience auditing management systems against ISO standards who enjoys working collaboratively with operational teams to drive compliance and best practice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting internal audits, supporting external certification audits, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, conduct, and report on internal IMS audits across multiple business functions.
- Support external certification and surveillance audits.
- Identify non-conformances, raise corrective actions, and monitor progress through to completion.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.
- Review processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational performance and compliance.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure effective resolution.
- Support the maintenance and continual improvement of the Integrated Management System.
- Analyse audit findings and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with operational teams to promote a culture of quality, health & safety, and environmental compliance.
- Assist in developing audit schedules, procedures, and management reports.
- Maintain accurate audit records and IMS documentation.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as an IMS, ISO, Quality, HSEQ, SHEQ, or Compliance Auditor.
- A good understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Experience conducting internal audits and supporting external audits.
- Strong report writing and analytical skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to company sites when required.
