The Opportunity: In this role, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end product strategy, multi-quarter roadmap, and operational excellence for critical enterprise messaging and integration platforms. You will bridge engineering, architecture, and business teams to drive platform standardization, lifecycle management, and high-availability outcomes across a global financial infrastructure.
Your Impact
- Strategy & Roadmap: Define and maintain multi-quarter product roadmaps covering security, automation, platform currency, and customer onboarding for IBM MQ, ACE, ITX, and Instana platforms.
- Lifecycle & Governance: Lead platform lifecycle initiatives including upgrades, deprecation strategies, and technical debt management while enforcing reference architectures and security controls (mTLS, certificate management).
- Reliability & Performance: Own service health outcomes by monitoring SLIs, SLOs, and MTTR, leading major incident reviews, and ensuring rigorous Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) testing.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure platforms meet strict audit, risk, and regulatory standards through vulnerability remediation, access controls, and active risk finding management.
Your Experience
- Platform Expertise: Extensive experience in Product or Service Management for enterprise middleware, with deep expertise in IBM MQ and strong working knowledge of IBM ACE, ITX, and Instana/ITM.
- Lifecycle & Reliability Management: Proven track record in managing platform KPIs/SLOs, capacity planning, enterprise HA/DR, and large-scale upgrade and standardization programs.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Leadership: Strong ability to collaborate across engineering, cyber security, and business units, alongside experience managing vendor licensing and commercial relationships.
- Regulated Environments (Desirable): Experience managing multi-platform (Linux, Windows, Mainframe) enterprise estates within Financial Services or highly audited industries.
