We are seeking a seasoned Senior UX Designer to lead a high-visibility digital transformation project for our global leader client in telecommunications. This project sits at the pinnacle of internal innovation: building a bespoke Internal Developer Portal (IDP) to revolutionise how a community of 6,000+ engineers interacts with their tools.

Currently, their engineering teams navigate a fragmented landscape of 50-60 different tools. Your mission is to mask that complexity, designing a unified, 'slick,' and intuitive experience that simplifies the entire software delivery lifecycle from end-to-end.

The Role

  • Complexity Management: Translate technical engineering workflows (APIs, infrastructure) into intuitive user journeys.
  • End-to-End Design: Lead developer-focused research and rapid prototyping in Figma.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Partner with Product Owners and the CTO office to align the portal with strategic goals.
  • Mentorship: Serve as a UX subject matter expert and coach internal team members.

Who You Are

  • Senior Experience: 5+ years in UX/Product Design for complex technical or B2B platforms.
  • Portal Specialist: Proven background in designing Developer Portals, IDPs, or Cloud Platforms.
  • Tooling Mastery: Expert-level Figma skills and proficiency in Jira/Confluence.

This is an urgent vacancy where the hiring manager is shortlisting for an interview immediately.
