The Opportunity: You will be the technical expert of our D365 Retail implementation and optimization team. This role requires deep, hands-on expertise in the technical architecture, development, deployment, and ongoing management of our global retail solution.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and maintain the robust technical architecture for our D365 Commerce environment (Headquarters, Store Commerce, Cloud Scale Unit, E-commerce integration).
- Lead and execute technical development tasks (X++ development, extensions, integrations) ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Architect and manage integrations between D365 Retail and critical third-party systems (e.g., POS peripherals, Payment Gateways, Warehouse Management Systems).
- Proactively monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring a fast and reliable experience for store staff and customers.
- Manage technical environments, code deployment, and release pipelines using Azure DevOps best practices.
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert, guiding functional teams and business stakeholders on technical capabilities and limitations of D365 Retail.
- Proven, hands-on experience in implementing, developing, and supporting Dynamics 365 Commerce/Retail.
- Strong expertise in X++, .NET, and the D365 extension framework.
- Experience with D365 Data Entities, OData, and API integrations.
- Comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of POS, Inventory Management, Pricing & Promotions, and Call Center/E-commerce integration within D365 Retail.
- Familiarity with Azure services related to D365 deployment and maintenance.
- Excellent ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
