About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Reporting Manager to join the Financial Client starting in early September. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery, driving high-quality reporting solutions and ensuring seamless operational insight across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Delivery: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust Power BI reports and interactive dashboards.
  • Stakeholder Translation: Work closely with senior business stakeholders to gather complex reporting requirements and translate them into actionable, high-impact technical solutions.
  • Data Quality & Governance: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all delivered reporting models.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize existing report performance and modernize data reporting workflows.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Power BI Experience: Proven track record of delivering advanced Power BI solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, manage expectations, and map business needs directly to delivery.
  • Availability: Must be available to start by the beginning of September to complete the handover phase.
  • Microsoft Fabric: Hands-on experience or familiarity with the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem is a strong advantage.
  • Financial Services: Prior experience working within financial services or banking environments.

Location & Working Pattern

  • Location: Candidates based near Sheffield are strongly preferred, though high-caliber candidates based in London will also be considered.
  • Hybrid Model: Expectation to work 2 days per week on-site at either the Sheffield or London office, with the remainder worked remotely.
