- Python is the key skill needed
- SQL experience
- AWS experience
- Terraform experience
- Building investment analysis platforms using Python
- C# / .NET is desirable but not critical (more for changes to microservices than new builds in C#, Windows migration work)
- Investment management / FS experience (working on Investment and fund services and platforms, integration with investment management services, working with Investment teams, quants, analysts) will set candidates apart from non-FS candidates
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good energy level to work in a high-performing client engineering team
- Knowledge of using AI tools in engineering is very helpful (e.g. Claude Code, Codex)
