Join Client as an Operations Scientist 1 (Contract). As an Operations Scientist 1, you will provide vital scientific support to our manufacturing operations. Your primary focus will be on process monitoring, technical investigations, and STARS test support to ensure our sensor products meet the highest quality standards.
Contract Length: 12 Weeks
Location: Witney (Technical Services)
Salary: £32,500 per annum (pro-rata)
Work Pattern: Office Hours, 37.5 hours per week
Projected Start Date: 16 February 2026
Core Responsibilities:
- Scientific Testing: Perform testing according to protocols while adhering to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
- Data Analysis: Analyze experimental data, evaluate results, and form technical conclusions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and write clear, technically correct reports.
- Collaboration: Participate in experimental design discussions and present findings to the wider team.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with the Quality System and Health & Safety procedures.
What We Are Looking For:
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in a technical or scientific discipline (or equivalent combination of education and work experience).
- Experience: Previous experience working in a laboratory or technical environment.
