We have an initially temporary Weighbridge Operative role available within Holcim's Asphalt site. This role is ideal for someone with previous Weighbridge Operative experience. However, applicants with a proactive nature and holding strong communication, customer service and IT literacy skills will be considered.
Role: Weighbridge Operative
Location: Holcim, Bardon Hill Quarry, Coalville, LE65 1TL
Rate: £16.02 per hour
Contract length: Holiday and sickness cover
Shift Patterns: Ad-hoc hours on an as and when basis covering holidays and long term sick. The shift would be 5 am till 2 am.
Start: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Operate the weighbridge, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all vehicle movements.
- Deliver high-quality customer service to drivers, contractors and internal teams by addressing queries promptly and professionally.
- Process all delivery and collection documentation in line with company policies and compliance standards.
- Monitor material movements to support effective stock management and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure full compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Assist in site security by managing vehicle access and ensuring all visitors are logged.
