Are you a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety professional with a passion for Wellbeing? We are currently looking for a competent and motivated Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to provide advice and support implementation & integration of HSW into all business processes and further develop the existing positive HSW culture.

Location: Kemsley Mill, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 2TD

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm (30 min paid lunch break)

Salary: £230 per day

Duration: 1 month rolling contract until March 2026

Responsibilities:

  • Support implementation and integration of HSW into all business processes and further develop the existing positive Site HSW culture.
  • Ensure compliance with H&S law, relevant regulations and all DS Smith Standards, including the Management Safety Standard.
  • Actively participate in meetings and initiatives with the relevant HS regulatory body. Provide strong visibility on site and competent advice.
  • Responsible with all others, for achieving the targeted improvements in HS including reductions in accidents/incidents, improvements in near miss/observational safety reporting, increase in audit scores and improvements in relevant employee survey scores.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Certificate
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Health & Safety role
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • A track record of driving HS improvements
