Do you have experience in a Production environment? Are you based in or around Birmingham? We currently have a temporary role available within the DS Smith site at Smethwick. This role is ideal for someone with previous Warehouse, production or manufacturing experience Role: Production Operative Shifts: Monday - Thursday 6am -2pm and Friday 6am -1pm and the following week Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm and Friday 1pm-8pm Pay: £15.75 per hour Duration: 3 months initially Location: DS Smith, Summit Crescent,Smethwick,West Midlands. B66 1BT Role & Responsibilities As a Production/ Warehouse operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods, from receiving to dispatch. You\'ll be part of a friendly, collaborative team committed to providing excellent service. Main tasks include Picking and packing Loading and unloading goods from vehicles. Maintaining a clean and organized work area. Adhering to all health and safety regulations at all times. Requirements Previous experience as a warehouse operative Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Good communication skills. Strong work ethic and commitment to safety. Physical stamina for warehouse work. Reliability and punctuality. Ability to work effectively under pressure.
