This role is ideal for someone who considers themself to be reliable, proactive, eager to learn and happy to work away from home.

Location: Glensanda Quarry, Rhugh Garbh Depot, Barcaldine, PA37 1SE

Rate: £18.00ph

Contract length: 3 months initially but with the view to go permanent

Shift Patterns: working 7 days a week 7am till 7pm, 1 week on, 1 week off. Weds-Weds

Start: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • General site maintenance
  • Cleaning spillages from under the production lines
  • Moving site waste using a wheel barrow and plant machinery
  • Use of on site machinery
  • Practising the highest standards of Health and Safety at all times

Essential requirements:

  • Ability to conduct manual handling
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Previous labouring experience
  • Some knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
  • HGV, Trailer, Tractor experience is all advantageous
