Job Details

  • Shift Patterns: Mon‑Fri, 08:30‑16:45 Mon‑Thu and 08:30‑15:45 Fri
  • Start: ASAP
  • Hybrid structure: 4 days site‑based, 1 day remote
  • Contract: Until March 2028
  • Pay Rates: £25‑£31.60 per hour (Up to £60,000)

Responsibilities

  • Move beyond desk‑based scheduling to become a strategic driver of safe, predictable delivery.
  • Set the planning standards and governance for a multi‑year programme, directly influencing executive‑level decision‑making.
  • This position is designed for a seasoned professional who understands the gravity and complexity of major industrial programmes.

Qualifications

  • Substantial background in planning large capital projects, preferably in heavy industry, energy or infrastructure.
  • Expert‑level knowledge of Primavera P6, schedule analytics and Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Credibility to influence senior leaders and the ability to explain complex plans clearly to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with NEC contracts and schedule impact assessments.
