Our leading Facilities Management client is seeking a Catering Assistant to join the team in Cardiff (CF11 9XB) Working at a local office, you will support the kitchen staff with the preparation of food and drinks Overview * Monday to Friday 12pm to 6:30pm * Overtime available if required * PAY RATE: £11.44 + Holiday (weekly pay) + Pension * Temp contract – Potential for permanent position for the right candidate * Full training provided * Excellent working environment / Team Duties include: * Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages * Ensure cleanliness and organization of catering areas * Set up and clear tables and dining areas * Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs * Monitor food stock levels and report shortages or wastage * Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times * Help with the transportation and delivery of catering items to events * Support the kitchen staff with food preparation tasks * Handle cash transactions and process payments when required * Maintain equipment and report any faults or damages * Assist in the setup and breakdown of catering events and functions * Follow company procedures and policies for service delivery Experience needed: * Customer service skills * Hard working and reliable * Immediate to start * Reliable and committed * Updated DBS issued within the last 12 months. * Level 2 Food Certificate For more details, please apply today or call Saransh Mehta, (phone number removed)
