Title: Calibration Engineer - Medical Devices Location: Witney Contract Type: 12 months Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Salary: Competitive package ranging up to 60,000 per annum (depending on experience and the position) Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Calibration Engineer to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of measurement and testing equipment used in the manufacturing, testing, and maintenance of medical devices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for calibration planning, execution, documentation, troubleshooting, and maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform calibration, verification, and preventive maintenance of laboratory, production, and inspection equipment. Develop, implement, and maintain calibration schedules and records. Ensure all measurement equipment complies with internal quality requirements and regulatory standards. Troubleshoot and resolve calibration-related issues to minimize equipment downtime. Review calibration certificates and verify traceability to national or international standards. Coordinate with external accredited calibration laboratories when required.
