We are seeking detail-oriented Welders to join our team in Banbridge. In this role, you will be responsible for high-quality TIG welding and fabrication tasks in an active, safety-focused manufacturing environment.

Job Type: Temporary - Possibility of going Permanent

Location: Banbridge (BT32 3QD)

Pay Rate: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour

Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

Shifts: Single shift pattern (Hours to be confirmed)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform precise TIG welding and fabrication tasks in accordance with SOPs and internal company procedures.
  • Prepare weld surfaces, control welding equipment/consumables, and complete pre- and post-weld quality checks.
  • Undergo on-site weld testing to qualify to specific company procedures.
  • Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environment procedures, ensuring correct extraction and PPE are used at all times.
  • Act as a role model within the team and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of workplace cleanliness.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 2 - 3 years of hands-on TIG welding experience.
  • Testing: Ability to pass an on-site practical weld test to meet company procedures.
  • Attributes: Excellent manual dexterity, high attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and make informed, quality-focused decisions.

Desirable Extras:

  • Formal TIG welding certifications or Coded qualifications (beneficial, but not mandatory).
  • Prior experience within a fast-paced workshop or industrial setting.
