Are you an aspirational procurement professional looking to make a significant impact? We are currently seeking a Project Buyer to join a global medical device company and lead on project-focused procurement activities, primarily within the Facilities and Capital Expenditure (CapEx) categories. In this role, you will work closely with a team of Buyers and Category Managers to drive excellence across the supply chain. We are looking for an individual who excels at stakeholder management and thrives in an atmosphere of change and continuous improvement.
Details:
- Pay: ranging to GBP55,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
- Location: Witney
- Hours: 37.5 per week
- Contract Length: 12 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Project & Operations: Support both project-specific procurement and day-to-day operational purchasing tasks.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with Project Managers and stakeholders across Engineering departments.
- Supplier Management: Develop supply chain relationships alongside Category Managers and manage supplier performance using KPIs.
- Value Creation: Drive continuous improvement within the supplier base to deliver cost reductions and Gross Margin Improvement (GMI).
- Process Evolution: Actively contribute to an environment of change and process enhancement.
Your Profile
We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable balancing operational, strategic, and project-based procurement activities.

- Experience: Proven background as a Buyer, Category Buyer, or Project Buyer.
