Are you a detail-oriented scientist looking to take a lead role in a high-standard laboratory environment? We are seeking a Senior QC Technician to oversee laboratory housekeeping, perform critical quality testing, and maintain our calibration standards. This role is vital to our production pipeline, ensuring that every product—from intermediate stages to finished goods—meets rigorous safety and integrity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Testing: Perform routine QC testing on intermediate and finished products following strict SOPs.
- Lab Ownership: Act as the process owner for lab housekeeping, including cleaning protocols and consumable supply management.
- Compliance: Work within ISO, and 18385 (DNA Forensic) quality frameworks.
- Calibration & Training: Lead instrument calibration schedules and train team members on laboratory operations and equipment.
- Documentation: Perform batch reviews of QC documents to ensure 100% accuracy and traceability.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a Life Sciences discipline (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: Previous experience in a regulated laboratory environment is preferred.
- Technical Interest: A working knowledge of PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) is highly desirable.
- Attributes: Strong leadership potential, a "safety-first" mindset, and the ability to train others effectively.
