Our peoplemake the difference.We are currently looking for a Mechanical Craft Team Member to join our Cranes amp; Lifting Department at our Llanwern site. This is a practical, hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in keeping our essential lifting equipment safe, reliable and fully operational. You'll be part of a tight-knit team working in a busy and safety-focused environment that supports steel production across the UK.What you will doAs a Mechanical Craft Team Member, you'll take responsibility for carrying out maintenance and repairs across a range of lifting equipment. Your day-to-day work will support the safe and efficient running of the plant, and you'll contribute your knowledge as a skilled craftsperson within a high-performing team. Your key responsibilities will include:Completing maintenance, fault-finding and repair tasks to a high standardPromoting a strong safety culture, ensuring all tasks comply with risk assessments and safety proceduresSupporting the team leader in planning work, coordinating resources and maintaining accurate records in SAPDelivering on-the-job training and coaching to other team membersYou'll also have the chance to deputise for the Area Team Leader when required, giving you the opportunity to strengthen your leadership skills in a supportive setting.What you will needWe're looking for an experienced, team-oriented craftsperson with strong technical skills and aproactive attitude.
